Always Do Good Works In the Name of God

Remember always that you are a Christian. Remember always that your life, the entirety of your life provides an opportunity for the Good News to be shared with others. Remember always that this important, that others are asked to do the same thing. Avoid feeling unworthy for the task. Simply allow yourself to feel the love and grace of the Lord.

We are all Christians. Within our souls are youthful desires for love, justice, hope. Within our souls are the imprints of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

For those who believe the desire to be a good example, to do good works in the name of God becomes very important.

Silence and speech are very important when doing the work of God, when encouraging others to do the work of God. Our actions, our conduct is important. What we present to the world in the name of God, in the service of God hopefully will always inspire thoughts of beauty, goodness, and truth in others. Our actions, our conduct sets the tone on how we believe, how we share our belief.

Allow your love for God be your guide. Allow your love for your neighbors to give you strength. Seek love that is universal, unconditional. All love is not created the same, all love does not serve God, all love does not seek equality, liberty. Love without hope, without innocence, without mercy is not love.

Seek books and people who are wise in their faith. Seek to strengthen your faith everyday. Protect your faith, always nurture your faith, never allow your faith to rest. Keep it busy, keep it focused on the Lord. Remember the Beatitudes. Allow them to form the foundation of your faith. Allow the Beatitudes to guide you in your daily activities.

Continue reading and spreading the Good News. Continue urging others to take the road to goodness, holiness, and kindness. Remember that it is important that your life be filled with sharing, with teaching about the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, not with textbooks but with how you live, how you interact with others, with the world.

Use your talents for the glory and service of the Lord.

Remember to always pray. Be diligent, be disciplined with your prayer. Be absorbed in all matters of goodness, holiness, kindness; be absorbed in all matters of the beauty, the goodness, the truth of Jesus Christ; be absorbed in your love and praise of God.

The life of all Christians involves continual learning, continual teaching. Approach both these tasks with humility, charity, and obedience. Approach both these tasks as a loyal, loving servant of God.
